Agua de Cortes was one of the eight companies selected in the first call for the Rural Talent Program organized by the Castellón County Council and the Jaume I University. The plan has been a pioneer within the Valencian Community, allowing university students to carry out internships in companies and entities located in cities of the province with less than 3,000 inhabitants.
For Agua de Cortes, participation in this program has served to share its work model, the environment and energize the municipality. The objective of this initiative was to facilitate a meeting point between labor demands and supply in rural areas, attract talent, offer a rewarding experience and promote coexistence in an indoor environment with a high quality of life.
Jia Ming Lin, a university student, did an internship at Agua de Cortes. The program has allowed him to have a real vision of the companies located in rural areas and with limited resources and the impact they generate in reducing depopulation, making known the possibility of employment in these companies. At the Cortes bottling plant, she has been involved in industrial process improvement projects and also integrated into the industrial maintenance team.
On the other hand, as a graduate in Agrifood and Rural Engineering, she has increased her knowledge of her environment, generating new projects with the aim of promoting the economy in rural areas.
