Importaco’s Research and Quality department has begun to research how eating dried fruit in your regular diet can counteract risk factors for cardiovascular diseases and reduce cellular ageing. This research will be conducted alongside the Preventive Medicine and Public Health Department of the Valencia University.
Several studies have already revealed that eating dried fruit may alter our DNA and modulate the ageing process given its high content of bioactive compounds that have a high nutritional value.
Through this project, Importaco intends to raise awareness about the way our product can improve people’s health in extremely important areas, such as cardiovascular health and cellular ageing.
