This acknowledgment places Importaco among a select group of companies that excel at managing their climate impact and means it stands out for its good practices in supplier relations  and sustainability integration throughout the value chain.

What does CDP’s Supplier Engagement Assessment (SEA) evaluate?

SEA is a key indicator of corporate climate action, focusing on how companies engage their supplier network to improve their environmental performance. CDP has particularly valued the following in the case of Importaco:

Implementation of robust climate governance, aligned with global objectives.

The definition of ambitious emission reduction targets, validated by the SBTi initiative.

Proactive management aimed at reducing Scope 3 emissions related to suppliers.

Collaborative work with suppliers to promote sustainable practices throughout the chain.

Thanks to all this hard work, Importaco has been included in the 2024 list, which is available on the official CDP website.
