From May 8 to 10, 2025, Importaco Nuts participated in the INC World Nut and Dried Fruit Congress, the most important international congress in the nuts and dried fruit sector, held at the Palma Convention Center in Mallorca.
Organized by the International Nut and Dried Fruit Council (INC), this annual event is the leading global meeting point for professionals, producers and top companies in the sector. This year’s edition brought together more than 1,500 attendees from over 60 countries, consolidating its position as a benchmark for discussing trends, challenges and opportunities in the international food industry.
Attending the congress allowed Importaco Nuts to strengthen its international presence, identify opportunities for collaboration and learn first-hand about the main innovations in the agri-food sector, with a special focus on sustainability and efficiency in the global supply chain.
During the conference, key issues such as the evolution of consumption, crop forecasts, adaptation to new regulations and technological advances in production and logistics were discussed.
One of the most relevant moments was the official sponsorship by Importaco Nuts of the Welcome Cocktail, the opening event at the congress. This strategic action positioned our brand across all physical and digital graphic platforms, generating significant visibility among global leaders in the nut industry.

Riccardo Calcagni participated in the panel dedicated to hazelnuts, sharing our experience in traceability, agricultural sustainability and new consumption patterns in Europe and Asia.
During the three-day event, the Importaco Nuts team presented our commercial and logistical proposals to customers, suppliers and potential strategic partners. These meetings allowed us to generate new business opportunities and strengthen key relationships with influential players in the global nut industry.
