Importaco, member of the board of Fundacion LAB to boost innovation and entrepreneurship in the Region of Valencia.

18 Feb, 2021

Importaco becomes part of the Board of Foundation LAB Mediterráneo, the new project promoted by the Valencian Entrepreneurs Association (AVE). This initiative, announced by AVE General Assembly in 2020 as “Mediterranean Corridor II”, begins with 24 founding members, AVE and its 23 associate members.

Aiming to position the Region of Valencia as a reference point in entrepreneurship, innovation, technology and research, the Foundation has set objectives such as promoting the creation and attraction of technological startups, helping non-technological companies in the Region to boost their digital transformation, increasing the private investment in R&D&i and promoting the research.

The most important actions designed to reach these objectives are holding lectures about entrepreneurship, open innovation, technology or about digital transformation in traditional business.

To achieve them, the founding members will work and be committed to it, as well as stimulating the collaboration between business and backing other existing initiatives related to the four scope areas of the Foundation.
