The SAB-Almendrave Governance Body, has appointed Gaspar Alapont as new First Vice President of the institution during its latest meeting, which took place in Madrid.
“It is a real honor to hold the Vice Presidency of Almendrave, representing Importaco. I am looking forward to collaborating in the development and the cohesion of the Spanish Almond and Hazelnut sector, providing my experience to make Almendrave gain the weight and consideration it deserves”. Gaspar Alapont is Almond Purchasing Manager in Importaco Group, a company in which he has been working since 1993.
Gaspar Alapont (Catarroja, September 30th 1968) studied Economics and Business Administration in University of Valencia. He also completed the Management Development Program in IESE, held by the University of Navarra. Furthermore, he has specialized training in Purchasing and Sales, as well as in marketing.
Spanish Almond Board – Almendrave is the Association of Almonds and Hazelnuts Exporters in Spain and represents 68% of all exportations. The members are Almendras Llopis, Borges Agricultural & Industrial Nuts, Consorcio Exportador Andaluz, Coselva SCCL., Importaco Ingredients, Mañan Sociedad Coop., Sanchís Mira and Unió Nuts.
